Our flower club was established in 1966 and in 1926 we look forward to celebrating our 60th anniversary. We are a small friendly club with 24 members who all have an interest in flowers and gardens. We meet on the last Thursday of most months at St Columba's Church Hall , Carville Road in the centre of Wallsend (300 yards from the metro and bus station, with a car park next to the hall).
We try to have a day trip away every year in the summer, usually to a country house with glorious gardens. Some of our members arranged flowers in local churches.
Flowers bring a lot of pleasure to many people's lives, we do enjoy our hobby !
