From a child I have loved the natural world ,especially flowers and gardens.After retiring from a career as a primary school teacher I discovered a love of flower arranging  after doing my  City and Guilds. My tutor told me I should take it further  and so the journey began..... Firstly qualifying as a Nafas  Area Demonstrator , then Judge and Speaker.I love demonstrating,competing, and keeping my skills up to date. I try to be as environmentally conscious  as possible and use British grown blooms wherever possible. I am a very keen gardener and include treasures from my garden  whenever I can.
