Welcome to Alnwick and District Flower Club.  We are part of the Northumberland and Durham, Area of National Association of Flower Arranging Societies (N&DNAFAS)
The club is run by a volunteer committee.
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Costello Centre, except January, August and December.
 In December we have a big demonstration at the Alnwick Playhouse (tickets available from the Playhouse). In June or July our club meeting is to a local garden of interest. This is at additional cost and we usually share lifts .
Membership fees are set by the committee and due in February and the AGM is held in November. Visitors are welcome to attend club meetings and pay a fee at the meeting.
We hold a raffle at club meetings when members and visitors can buy tickets and could win one of the demonstrator’s arrangements. The committee very much appreciate the support given to the raffle.
We occasionally run workshops which are very informal and fun and encourage everyone to attend even if it is to watch and enjoy the refreshments.
The Flower Arranger magazine is available to order through the club and is at a discounted rate.
In addition to our local monthly meetings N&D NAFAS organise 2 events that all members and friends can attend. Members Day is held in May and the Area AGM is held in November. This is a lovely day out and includes talks, demonstrations, stalls, a raffle and a meal. Tickets are at additional cost and available via our club. A fundraising fun day is usually organised as well. We lift share to get to the venues.
Alnwick and District Flower Club is inclusive and accessible. We promote fun and friendship through flowers.
